Surgical Approach
Supraorbital
A minimally invasive “keyhole” craniotomy made through an eyebrow incision to reach the anterior cranial fossa and suprasellar region. It is used for tuberculum and olfactory-groove meningiomas, selected anterior-circulation aneurysms and suprasellar cysts.
The small craniotomy relies on brain relaxation and on the endoscope or microscope for illumination and reach.
